This rhizome of the plant ‘Curcuma longa’ is a versatile spice with usage ranging from cosmetic applications to religious rituals. The roots can be traced back to India and Indonesia. The rhizome with rough yellowish-brown skin has golden-orange insides. Curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, is said to have numerous health benefits like anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties while improving memory and mood. It could reduce the likelihood of cardiac diseases and cancer, and unnecessary clotting of blood.

Raw materials sourced from our farmer networks are tested for quality in NABL accredited labs and then undergo cleaning and mechanical sorting to remove stones, foreign and extraneous matter. Qualified and experienced professionals ensure that the laid-out processes are followed. The production lines are integrated with blenders and sieves which ensure that the product is uniform and consistent. In-Process Quality Control Checks ensure that the final products are as per the customer specifications. The products are sterilized through a validated steam treatment method. The steam-sterilised Turmeric Ground is then analysed for quality parameters according to customer requirements and packed.
