Ginger Ground

Ginger ground spiceGinger is a rhizome of ‘Zingiber officinale,’ a flowering plant. This versatile spice is indigenous to southern China and grows well in warm and moist climates. It is one of the "Holy Trinities" of Chinese cooking. This aromatic spice has a brown external layer and yellow centre with a unique citrusy aroma. Its refreshing scent finds use in aromatics and cosmetics. It has a distinctly zesty, piquant bite and a soapy taste with undertones of sweetness. Apart from its high nutritional value, ginger is said to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, and anti-tumour properties.  It could aid digestion and is used in traditional medicine to treat ailments ranging from nausea to cancer.

Raw materials sourced from our farmer networks are tested for quality in NABL accredited labs and then undergo cleaning and mechanical sorting to remove stones, foreign and extraneous matter. Qualified and experienced professionals ensure that the laid-out processes are followed. The production lines are integrated with blenders and sieves ensuring the product is uniform and consistent. In-Process Quality control checks assure that the final products are as per the customer specifications. The products are sterilized through a validated steam treatment method. The steam-sterilised Ginger Ground is then analysed for quality parameters according to customer requirements and packed.
