CII – MANE KANCOR LAUNCHES ONLINE CULINARY COMPETITION

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the development of India, partnering industry, Government and civil society, through advisory and consultative processes.

For 125 years, CII has been working on shaping India’s development and this year, more than ever before, it will continue to proactively transform Indian industry’s engagement in national development.

This year marks the third edition of CII Kerala Food Summit & Expo and is being conducted as a virtual conference & exhibition on Emerging Opportunities for Agri & Food Processing Industries. The objective of this year’s summit is to re-imagine and re-organise the food system, to survive in the ever-changing market and meet consumer demands. The virtual event will take place for a period of 3 months starting from August 18th to November 18th. The inaugural session of the virtual conference and exhibition was held on 18th August, 2020.

Geemon Korah, Director, CEO – MANE Kancor Ingredients Limited, Convener – CII Kerala Agri & Food Processing panel, chaired plenary session on FSSAI Regulations/Standards to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. The session was on meeting the changing regulations and compliance requirements, with regards to FSSAI Standards for fruits & vegetables and FSSAI Standards for Spices.

Yusuff Ali M A, Chairman & Managing Director, Lulu Group International announced the launch of an innovative initiative during the inauguration, CII – MANE Kancor Culinary Competition. The motive behind this competition is to discover new culinary talents. The competition is open to Individuals/Academia/Organisations interested in exploring their culinary skills.
