We are honoured to share that The Amethyst, the Admin building at Mane Kancor, Angamaly, has been awarded the Platinum Award at the VOX Architecture Ideas National Awards (FOAID) — the highest distinction at this prestigious national design platform. Selected from over 250 entries across India, this recognition celebrates architectural excellence that unites innovation, sustainability, and intelligent design in workplace environments.
The VOX Architecture Ideas Awards, hosted as part of the FOAID (Festival of Architecture & Interior Design), is a premier competition that spotlights visionary architectural and interior design concepts shaping India’s built environment. Now in its tenth edition, the Awards bring together emerging and established design talent, judged by an expert jury and celebrated before a national audience of industry leaders.
The award recognises excellence in innovative, sustainable, and thoughtfully planned architecture. Inspired by the shape of an Amethyst, the building is certified by EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) and stands as a strong symbol of our dedication to sustainability and efficient design. The Amethyst was honoured for its self-shading design, intelligent planning, and effective use of north light, significantly reducing reliance on artificial lighting while creating a high-performance workplace.
