Mane Kancor is proud to announce that its research team has been recognized at the Dr. P. D. Sethi National HPTLC Awards 2025 under the Private Industry Category, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to scientific excellence and innovation in analytical research.
The honor was awarded for the team’s research publication titled “HPTLC-Based Identification of Bitter Principles in Rosemary Extracts for Standardizing its Extent of Refinement,” published in the journal Food and Humanity by Elsevier. The study highlights the effective application of High-Performance Thin-Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) in identifying key bitter compounds, enabling improved standardization and quality control of rosemary extracts.
Established in 2006 in memory of Late Dr. P. D. Sethi, Founder Director of the Central Drugs Laboratory, the awards recognize outstanding contributions in the application of TLC and HPTLC in analytical science. Since 2021, they have been organized at the national level by Anchrom Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., celebrating advancements across fields such as herbal, pharmaceutical, food, biochemistry, biotechnology, and specialized applications.
Mane Kancor’s research paper was awarded the Third Prize in the Private Industry Category, placing it among the top contributions from across India. This achievement, alongside leading academic institutions, research organizations, and industry laboratories, underscores the strength of Mane Kancor’s research capabilities.
