Say hello to Grow Trees initiative. A simple initiative that aims at being a solution to one among the biggest problems that the earth is currently facing – Carbon emissions and deforestation. They help by providing individuals and corporates the opportunity to plant trees and offset their carbon footprint. To incorporate the idea of planting in our daily lives, Grow-Trees also allows its users to use their trees and gift friends and family with a TreeCard or an eTree certificate. These trees will not only help reduce atmospheric carbon but also assist in providing for rural employment, enhancing wildlife habitats, rejuvenating water bodies, etc.
According to the latest information available, GrowTrees has planted over 6.5 million trees, while creating more than 5.3 lakh workdays for rural and tribal communities and offsetting more than 13 crores kg of carbon per year. Once a tree has been planted they provide you with an eTree certificate that includes the tree location details.
This year, all our stakeholders have been gifted with a tree in their name at the Project Trees for Forests & Wildlife plantation of local tree species in the community land in Disi Village, Basar, West Siang District, Arunachal Pradesh, India. Our initiative with GrowTrees also provides habitat to the smallest bear in the world the Sun Bear a tropical species which makes their home on tree tops. The loss of trees has been a prime cause towards endangering the species, thus this noble initiative paves way to safeguarding several species on this planet Earth. We, being a natural ingredients solutions provider, wanted to do our bit in giving back to Mother Nature and what better way to do it.
