The state-level safety awareness programme organised by the Department of Factories and Boilers in association with Mane Kancor Ingredients Ltd, Angamaly, was held on 30th July. It was inaugurated by honl’ble minister T.P. Ramakrishnan at Government Higher Secondary School, Puliyanam.
The series of classes named ‘Suraksharadham’ was aimed at training factory labourers as well as students on how to effectively handle emergency situations. The session covered topics on hazardous chemicals and the safety measures to be followed while using it. The classes were held in every district for selected students.
