Mane Kancor Wins First Prize at 36^th Kerala State Level Quality Circle Competition 2025

Mane Kancor’s Production Team “Flavour Seeds” has secured First Place at the 36^thKerala State Level Quality Circle Competition 2025, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The prestigious award was formally presented during the award ceremony held at Taj Vivanta, Ernakulam.

The award ceremony was attended by several distinguished dignitaries, including
Mr. Thomas John Muthoot, Chairman of CII Southern Region; Mr. V.K.C. Razak, Chairman of CII Kerala; and Mr. Joseph Michael Kallivayalil, Vice Chairman of CII Kerala.

The team showcased significant shopfloor productivity improvements through the effective use of various Quality Circle tools, including Pareto Chart, Cause & Effect Diagram, Why–Why Analysis, 5W1H, Control Chart (I Chart), Histogram, and Scatter Diagram. These tools helped identify key production challenges, analyse root causes, validate process data, and implement corrective actions that improved operational efficiency.

The improvement project was presented to various levels of the Quality Circle committee and received top recognition for its structured approach and measurable impact on production performance.

The Flavour Seeds Quality Circle team consists of Akhil Ravi (Plant Operator), Jojo George (Plant Operator), Jinto Thomas (Plant Operator), Praveen Pillai (Senior Executive – Production), Sanil K.M. (Assistant Manager – Production), and Jayesh Pushpan (Senior Manager – Production).
