Mustard Oil

Botanical Name of Raw Material:  Brassica Juncea

Mustard seeds are the small round seeds of the mustard plant, belonging to the family of Brassicaceae . Mustard oil is obtained by the hydro-distillation of seeds of Brassica Juncea. The oil is a pale yellow to brownish yellow liquid, with a highly pungent and irritating odour. The main component of the oil is Allyl isothicynate. The oil is mainly used in flavouring applications.
