Botanical Name of Raw Material : Cymbopogon Flexuosus  

Lemongrass ,  commonly cultivated as culinary and medicinal herbs because of their scent belongs to the grass family,  Poaceae. Lemongrass is widely used as a culinary herb in Asian cuisine and also as medicinal herb in India. It has a subtle citrus flavor .  Organic Essential Oil of Lemongrass is mainly used for perfumery application. it is also used as an insect repellent. Our Organic Lemongrass essential oil is obtained by the steam distillation of dried grass of organically grown Lemon grass. The oil is golden yellow to brownish yellow colour. It is a free flowing liquid having characteristic citrus lemony odour.
