Botanical Name of Raw Material : Ocimum basilicum

Basil is a culinary herb from the family Lamiaceae (mints). The Organic essential oil of Basil is obtained by the Steam distillation of the entire plant of organically grown Basil. Organic Basil Oil is pale yellow to brownish yellow in colour and has a naturally sweet, herbaceous and balsamic odour with camphoraceous tinge. It is the main source for methyl chavicol. Major components are Methyl Chavicol followed by linalool and other terpenes.  It could be used in various applications like Health Care, Aromatherapy, Insect Repellant, etc.
