Palmarosa oil is obtained by the steam distillation of the grass of Cymbopogon martini Stapf var.motia. The oil is a pale yellow, free-flowing liquid that is sweet and floral, with a hint of the smell of rose. The main component of the oil is Geraniol. The product is mainly used in fragrance applications.
