Stable colours for your snacks

Instructions

Mixing

  • Mix sugar, oil and warm water in a mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl blend the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  • Cut shortening into the dry blend.
  • Add dry mixture to liquids and mix until dough forms.
  • Let dough rest 10 – 20 minutes.

Forming

  • Roll out dough to 2 mm thickness.
  • Cut to desired shapes and dock.

Baking

  • Place on perforated pan and top with salt.
  • Bake at 375°F for 4-6 minutes*
  • Bake at 225°F for 6-10 minutes*
  • Remove from oven and spray with oil.
  • Cool completely.

*Bake times may vary depending on oven
