COMFORTING FOODS FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOMES

Stable colours for your snacks

Packaged foods that are considered “healthy for you”, often have a dull appearance due to the removal of synthetic dyes and other unwanted ingredients.  Colour plays an important role in first time purchase intent.  If a product does not look appealing on the store shelf, it likely won’t be purchased.  However, this can be avoided by using Mane Kancor’s C-Capture line of natural colours.

Mane Kancor colours the world’s leading food and beverage brands, keeping them appetising, vibrant and natural. The colour of food and beverages is a prelude to nutrition and good taste. Mane Kancor, a manufacturer of natural colours (C-Capture) for over a century, provides safe and natural colouring solutions to food processing and beverage industries. The company’s expertise in in-house extraction, isolation, purification and blending processes creates shades that are consistent in hue and stable in many food & beverage applications. Mane’s application capabilities and understanding of NPD and market trends, allows the company to create innovative concepts that hit on two key human senses; visual appeal and taste.

In order to understand the colour stability of the C-Capture line of natural colours, conducted several trials on crackers.
